As with the painting below, this one came out of a wonderful trip to Zion and the Grand Canyon a few years ago. To say it was inspirational, well, those that have been there know what I’m talking about. I very much enjoyed painting the great colors and contrasts. Accomplishing the atmospheric effect of distance is a fun aspect and challenge for any artist.
